Hermès 45 cm Haut a Courroies, Vert Claire Ardennes Leather. Hermès bags are considered the ultimate luxury item- hand stitched with extensive wait lists. Crafted in Vert Claire Ardennes leather with gold hardware, this HAC is the perfect travel bag. The Haut a Courroies, or “high belts” bag, is very similar to the Birkin but proportionally taller with slightly shorter handles. The HAC, like the Birkin, was originally used for carrying equestrian equipment but has since become an icon of fashion and taste. Ardennes leather is no longer in production, though it is widely considered the best wearing leather from Hermès. It is more rigid than Togo; therefore it holds the shape of the bag well. The large flat grain provides beautiful texture; it is also scratch and water resistant. Warm gold hardware adds a beautiful accent. Coordinating chevre lining. Made in France.
